Dr. Rahul Chandola is a versatile cardiothoracic surgeon who has trained extensively at some of the world's leading cardiac centres, including Humboldt University in Germany, Toronto General Hospital in Canada, and the University of Alberta in Canada. He completed dedicated clinical fellowships in heart lung transplantation at the Universities of Toronto and Alberta, both recognised as centres of excellence in this field.
He is an expert in complex aortic surgery, having trained under Dr. Tirone David, a globally recognised pioneer in the discipline. Over a career spanning more than two decades, Dr. Chandola has built deep experience across the full spectrum of cardiothoracic surgery and is regarded internationally as a pioneering heart lung transplant surgeon. He is credited with performing Northern India's first lung transplant in a post-COVID patient.
